Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
